Sonara Camp

Phenomenal evening. Everything was a really well executed. Food to entertainment. We went with kids and allergy sufferers and the team catered for us in every aspect you can imagine. They were fast, super friendly and very accommodating. Food for such a venue or great. In fact it was delicious for any account, restaurant quality of top trier. The entertainment was amazing even my 5 month year old enjoyed it. And my 4 year old had a blast. She couldn’t top talking about it.

Super organised, great atmosphere with a brilliant sunset, evening entertainment and 3 course meal. Canapes and drinks on arrival. Highly recommend for families with kids of all ages, groups of friends, and couples.

This review is about the Next accommodation only. Upon arrival, we were initially very pleased with the aesthetics of the room; it looked lovely, and we were excited for our stay. However, I noticed a few ants along the wall and floor near the minibar area. As this is an outdoor accommodation, I assumed this might be a minor issue, so I didn’t raise it at the time. We spent about 30 minutes in the room before leaving for the Sonara Camp which is the entertainment area. When we returned later in the evening, I noticed that the ant problem had worsened, but as it was quite late, I didn’t feel it was appropriate to contact anyone. Unfortunately, by the morning, the situation had escalated significantly—ants were all over the bed sheets, our bags, and personal belongings. I have attached a photo of the ants on the bed as evidence. Given the amount I paid for this accommodation, this experience was both unacceptable and unpleasant. To find ants in the bed where we slept was disturbing, especially since this stay was meant to be a special occasion for my partner’s birthday, which unfortunately put a damper on the entire weekend. I emailed the company with this complaint and evidence and requested a for refund due to ant Infestation during recent stay however this was not provide therefore i have decided to share my unfortuate experience.

Our driver, Atiq, was a total legend – super friendly and gave us heaps of interesting info about Dubai, which really made the trip. The sunset was breathtaking, and the dinner setup was top-notch. Every staff member we met was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed. The entertainment during dinner? Next level! If you’re looking for a desert experience that’s truly unforgettable, Nara is the way to go. Can’t recommend it enough!"
